WWE reportedly recently made the decision to shakeup their commentary teams for their RAW and SmackDown brands once again, according to PWInsider.
Dave Scherer reported that his sources stated that these new changes will go into effect starting this week. Johnson reported that Cole will now be exclusive to the RAW brand going forward and both RAW and SmackDown will now feature two-man commentary teams.
It is currently not known if Wade Barrett will remain as Cole’s commentary partner on RAW nor if SmackDown’s remaining commentary team of Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves will be changed.
Prior to the changes, WWE’s RAW had featured a two-man team of Cole and Barrett while SmackDown had featured a three-man team of Cole, Patrick, and Graves since August of 2023.
