As noted before, Deonna Purrazzo’s contract with Impact Wrestling expired at the end of 2023 and is currently a free agent. Purrazzo has been rumored to potentially be heading to either WWE or AEW due to her very close friends Chelsea Green and Britt Baker currently working in those respective companies.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated multiple companies had expressed their interest in Purrazzo well before her Impact contract expired.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that AEW officials have recently held talks Purrazzo and are currently hopeful that they will be able to get a deal done with her.
Those spoken to reportedly also stated that Purrazo had while she was finishing up her commitments with Impact that AEW was her preferred landing spot.
In regards to WWE, it was reported that WWE officials have had some contact with Purrazzo but those spoken to within WWE stated that most, if not all, of the company’s free agent discussions plans were being held off until the start of this new year.
