Friday’s New Year Dash 2024 event for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Tokyo, Japan featured former WWE talent Matt Riddle making a surprise appearance.
Following Hiroshi Tanahashi defeating Ryusuke Taguchi to retain his NJPW World Television Championship in the opening match on the show, a video aired on the big screen interrupting Tanahashi’s victory celebration.
