WWE reportedly currently has plans for John Cena and WWE Hall of Famers Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker to be involved at next month’s WrestleMania 40 event in some form, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that the current belief is that Cena, Austin, and Undertaker will be involved at WrestleMania 40 but no creative plans have been locked in for Cena and Austin as of Thursday nor is it currently known if these plans are a well-guarded secret.
Meltzer reported that WWE’s plans are entirely dependent on how much Cena, Austin, and Undertaker are willing to do and monetary amounts.
In regards to Cena, Meltzer reported that Cena’s availability is dependent on his current acting schedule and what he would be allowed and not allowed to do for insurance reasons.
In regards to Austin and Undertaker, Meltzer reported that their availability is dependent on the level of willingness they have to be involved at the event.
