EVP of Talent Dan Ventrelle Reportedly Removed from WWE

WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Dan Ventrelle reportedly is no longer with the company, according to SEScoops.

SEScoops’ Aaron Varble reported that his sources stated that Ventrelle was let go by WWE earlier today. No other details were given regarding Ventrelle’s departure.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources confirmed Ventrelle’s departure but also did not provide any other additional details over the matter.

Prior to his departure, Ventrelle had been working for WWE since September of 2022. Besides WWE, Ventrelle had also worked for NFL football team Las Vegas Raiders in various management roles from 2003 until his firing in May of 2022.


WWE Releases Official Poster for Backlash 2024

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque released the official poster for WWE’s upcoming Backlash 2024 Premium Live Event, which takes place on May 4th at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.

This poster features Cody Rhodes as the cover star and the tag line of “Nightmares do come true.”


JD McDonagh Advances in WWE Speed Title Tournament

Wednesday’s WWE Speed show on Twitter featured JD McDonagh defeating Axiom in a WWE Speed Championship Tournament First Round match.

As a result of his victory, McDonagh will be facing off against Ricochet in the Semifinal round of WWE’s Speed title tournament.

It was also announced that next week’s show on April 17th will feature a WWE Speed Championship Tournament First Round match of Johnny Gargano vs. Angel. The winner of this match will face off against Bronson Reed in a Semifinal Round match.
