The city of Milwaukee reportedly has been in recent talks with WWE over the possibility of hosting a future Royal Rumble event, according to CBS 58.
It was reported that their sources stated that Milwaukee city and Wisconsin state officials have been in recent talks with WWE over the idea of the city potentially hosting a future Royal Rumble event at the American Family Field once its current “winterized” renovations are completed.
The American Family Field, home of MLB team Milwaukee Brewers, reportedly is set to be “winterized” by the end of the 2025 MLB season. This would mean that the earliest that the city of Milwaukee could potentially host a Royal Rumble event would be in 2026.
One source spoken to reportedly stated “city and state representatives met with WWE officials in Philadelphia last weekend during the company’s biggest annual event, ‘WrestleMania.”
When asked for comments, VISIT Milwaukee President Peggy Williams-Smith stated “We would love to welcome WWE’s Royal Rumble to Milwaukee in a future year, and WWE knows it!”
