As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Montreal, Canada featured Rhea Ripley confirming that she had recently suffered a shoulder injury and would be vacating her WWE Women’s World Championship as a result.
Bryan Alvarez reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that Ripley had suffered a sprained AC joint injury in her shoulder. Alvarez reported that Ripley’s injury was also confirmed to have taken place when she was thrown into the walls by Liv Morgan during their backstage brawl segment at last week’s RAW show and as a fluke situation.
Alvarez reported that a typical recovery for a sprained AC joint is around 4-6 weeks to regain mobility and up to three months to heal and being ready for an in-ring ring.
