Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Inglewood, California featured New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Shota Umino, NJPW and indies talent Lio Rush, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre talents Mistico and Hechicero making surprise appearances. Besides them, CMLL talent Stephanie Vaquer also made a surprise appearance on the show.
All four made their surprise appearances during the AEW World Championship #1 Contender Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet match in the main event of the show.
Mistico was the first of the group to come out as the third entrant and was followed by Umino as the fifth, Rush as the seventh, and Hechicero as the ninth and final entrant.

This was Mistico’s first appearance since this past March, Hechicero’s first appearance since this past February, Umino’s first appearance since June of 2023, and Rush’s first appearance since December of 2021 in AEW.
