In a trivia note, Savage was the seventh member of the New World Order (nWo) faction to pass away, following Louie Spicolli, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Miss Elizabeth, Big Bubba Rogers and Brian Adams.

— TNA star Desmond Wolfe has been writing a sitcom while away from the ring. In an interview with The Kent News, Wolfe said: “I can’t get into the details of my absence here and now, but there have been a few different plans to bring me back in the last few months, none of which materialised. I’m hoping for something soon though.”
