WWE held two sets of SmackDown television tapings on Friday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The first taping was for Friday’s live episode of SmackDown while the second taping was for next week’s show on July 26th.
Full results from WWE’s SmackDown tapings for July 26th episode:
- LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar. Following the match, Logan Paul ran out and attacked LA Knight.
- A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory & Grayson Waller had a promo segment with boxer Terreance Crawford that ended with Crawford knocking out Theory.
- Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton defeated Bayley & Michin
- WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Gauntlet match – The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) defeated Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford), Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin, Legado Del Fantasma (Angel & Berto), Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson), and The O.C. (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows). The match started off with Crews & Corbin vs. Legado and the order of eliminations went Legado eliminated Crews & Corbin, Street Profits eliminated Legado, Pretty Deadly, and The O.C., and The Bloodline eliminated Street Profits.
- In a post-show dark segment, Cody Rhodes ran out with a chair causing The Bloodline to scramble out of the ring. Rhodes gave a speech to the crowd praising the the Street Profits and announced that Kevin Owens is in the hospital but will be okay. Rhodes then knocked over the big Prime bottle at ringside in honor of Owens.
