Claudio Castagnoli & More Announced for CMLL Grand Prix 2024, Full Teams Revealed

As noted before, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre recently announced half of the competitors for Team World and Team Mexico for this year’s Grand Prix 2024, which takes place on August 23rd at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

During Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show, CMLL officially announced the remaining competitors for this year’s Team World and Team Mexico. Among those announced included Claudio Castagnoli and Yota Tsuji for Team World and Mascara Dorada and Volador Jr. for Team Mexico.

CMLL Announces Tournament for Vacant CMLL Women’s World Tag Team Titles

Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show also featured CMLL officially announcing that they will be holding a tournament to crown new champions for the vacant CMLL Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

It was also announced that this tournament will start on July 30th and conclude at their August 6th Martes de Arena Mexico event in Mexico City, Mexico.

This championship was made vacant following Stephanie Vaquer & Zeuxis being stripped of the titles over Vaquer’s abrupt departure from CMLL and signing with WWE afterwards.
