Jon Moxley Reportedly Taking Break from AEW

Jon Moxley has been noticeably absent from AEW since this past June’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the reason for Moxley’s current absence from AEW is due to him recently being given some time off as a break for rest.

Meltzer reported that Moxley has not been in attendance backstage at AEW shows since taking his rest break.
