Saturday’s 5STAR Grand Prix 2024 event for Stardom in Yokohama, Japan featured AEW talent Anna Jay making her official in-ring debut for Stardom.
Jay faced off against Saori Annou in her opening Blue Stars A Block group match for this year’s tournament, which was won by Jay.
As a result of her victory, Jay is currently tied with Syuri and Miyu Amasaki on top of Blue Stars A Block with 2 points.
If the Stardom locker room didn’t know what #AEW’s Anna Jay was all about, they do now 🙀🙀#STARDOM

Following her match, Jay gave her thoughts about her victory and debut in Stardom in a backstage press conference.
“My first day in Japan, I got my first win in STARDOM and I cannot wait to keep going. This is exactly what I came here for, to get better, to win, finally, and this is where to do that. And God, I feel good already right now. I’m out of breath, I’m a little tired, I arrived here at 4 am, but here I am, I’m doing it. And this is exactly what I’ve wanted to do all along — do the work and be here with the best.”
