AEW reportedly is currently working on plans to hold a stadium event in Australia in 2025, according to The Sporting News Australia.
The Sporting News Australia’s Tom Naghten reported that his sources stated that AEW’s plans for a new stadium event in Australia are well advanced and AEW powerbrokers have been scouting venues along Australia’s east coast.
Naghten reported that the Alliancz Stadium in Sydney, Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, and Sincorp Stadium in Brisbane are potential landing spots for AEW’s planned event in the country. Naghten also reported that entertainment company TEG is helping AEW for this planned event.
Naghten also reported that a potential date for this planned stadium event has yet to be locked in by AEW officials.
