As noted before, Jay White has been out of action for AEW since this pats July due to an foot injury. White was believed to have recently recovered from his injury and could make his return to AEW television soon.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that White has yet to be medically cleared for an in-ring return. It was reported that White was in attendance backstage at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Cardiff, Wales to get looked at for a possible clearance but was stated to not be ready at that time.
AEW officials reportedly had plans for White to appear at this Sunday’s All In 2024 event and had been discussed to be a competitor for the Casino Gauntlet match. It was reported that it is currently not known if White’s planned appearance for All In 2024 will happen or not due to his current injury situation.
Despite not being medically cleared this week, those spoken to reportedly stated that White has been improving.
