As noted before, Bobby Lashley and MVP’s contracts with WWE expired this August and left the company and are current expected to reform the Hurt Business group.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Lashley and MVP have held talks with AEW in recent weeks for a potential contract. It was reported that it is currently not known if a deal has been made nor if it is imminent.
It was reported that Lashley and MVP have had talks and even have plans made to reform their Hurt Business faction outside of WWE. This faction is currently believed to be called The Hurt Syndicate based on a recent trademark filing by MVP.
In regards to a potential AEW debut date for Lashley and MVP, it was reported that they have not heard of any plans for Lashley and MVP to be involved in the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet match at tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.
