As noted before, The Lucha Brothers’ Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire between this August and September while Rey Fenix’s contract is currently set to expire this September. The Lucha Bros are currently expected to be joining WWE once their AEW contracts expire.
WrestleVotes reported in the debut episode of their WrestleVotes Radio podcast that their sources stated that Penta and Fenix are currently believed to have recently signed official contracts with WWE.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that production of masks, T-shirts, and other promotional materials are currently in production by WWE.
PW Nexus’ Cory reported that his sources stated that the Lucha Bros’ new contracts are for multiple years in length and they are expected to skip NXT and go straight to the main roster for their official WWE debut.
