As noted before, former WWE talent Tegan Nox, also known as Nixon Newell in the indies, was recently pulled from ATTACK! Pro Wrestling’s upcoming Under The Mistletour events on December 14-15 in Cardiff, Wales.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported that his sources stated that ATTACK! officials had been in talks with WWE officials throughout the process of booking Nox to try and make her appearance for their shows happen. Brennan reported that ATTACK! officials spoke highly of WWE during the process despite them being “gutted” Nox would not be able to make an appearance at their upcoming events.
Brennan reported that it is currently not known if Nox’s current non-compete clause following her release from WWE earlier this month was the reason for her dropped booking since this was something not mentioned by those spoken to. One source spoken to reportedly stated that the potential reason could have been due to a “myriad” of issues.
Those spoken to within ATTACK! reportedly stated that they are currently looking for a replacement for Nox and they still want to bring her to the company sometime in the future. Brennan reported that several promoters in the United Kingdom and Europe have stated that they are currently interested in booking Nox for their shows once she becomes available.
