CNN reported that their sources stated that President-elect Donald Trump is currently expected to nominate Linda McMahon as his Secretary of the Department of Education. McMahon previously served as the Secretary of Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019 during Trump’s first term.
McMahon previously served as a member of the State of Connecticut’s Board of Education in 2009.
In a separate report by The Washington Post, McMahon’s attorney Laura Brevetti issued a statement on the lawsuit filed on behalf of the survivors of the WWE Ring Boys scandal against her client, WWE, TKO Group, and former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. In her statement, Brenetti stated that Linda and Vince are currently separated as a couple.
The McMahons are currently separated, according to Linda’s attorney, Laura Brevetti, who called the ring boys lawsuit “baseless” …
“This lawsuit based upon thirty-plus-year-old allegations is filled with scurrilous lies, exaggerations, and misrepresentations.”
