Lyra Valkyria Announced for OTT Wrestling’s Homecoming 2024 Event This December in Ireland, Backstage OTT Reaction Over Valkyria Return Announcement

Over The Top Wrestling announced earlier today on Twitter that WWE’s Lyra Valkyria will be making an appearance for the company at their Homecoming 2024 event on December 21st in Dublin, Ireland.

It was also announced that Valkyria will be facing off against Debbie Keitel in a singles match at the event.

This will be Valkyria’s first appearance for OTT since October of 2019.

In regards to the backstage reaction over Valkryia’s return announcement for OTT, Fightful Select reported that the general reaction within OTT was one of being surprised over the announcement. Many OTT talent and staff found out about Valkyria’s return announcement through social media.

One source spoken to within OTT reportedly stated that it was a “really special moment” for Valkyria and Keitel in reference to their past history as a tag team. Another source spoken to reportedly stated that the recent appearances by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the promotion were felt throughout the entire Irish wrestling community.

One source spoken to reportedly stated that they believe fans can expect to see more WWE talents making appearances for additional European-based indies promotions in 2025.
