As noted before, this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Salt Lake City, Utah featured Jade Cargill being seen laid out in the parking lot following an unseen attack by a mystery assailant. Following the show, WWE provided a storyline injury update listing a large amount of injuries Cargill had suffered which is believed to have been WWE’s way of covering for a legitimate injury Cargill recently suffered.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that his sources confirmed that Cargill had recently suffered a legit injury and the injury angle at this past Friday’s show was WWE way of writing her off of WWE television.
Meltzer reported that the exact nature of Cargill’s injury is currently not known but those spoken to within WWE’s creative team stated that the current belief is that Cargill will be out of action for at least three months and possibly even longer. Meltzer speculated that this was likely the reason why WWE listed numerous injuries for Cargill as a way to write her out for a potential lengthy amount of time.
