Aiming to prove that he can hang with the world’s very best, high flying rising star @KomandercrMX will join the field as Gold League first alternate, + the upcoming schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
As noted before, Juice Robinson suffered a foot-related injury at this past Wednesday’s tapings for AEW’s Collision show that aired on November 30th.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that Robinson had undergone X-rays but he has not gotten the results back as of Monday. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Robinson was fearing that he might have suffered a broken foot injury.
In regards to Robinson’s status for the remainder of this year’s AEW Continental Classic tournament, Meltzer reported that an announcement regarding Robinson’s tournament status likely will be made soon and likely by this Wednesday. Meltzer reported that should Robinson need to be pulled from the tournament, then AEW officials would have several different ways they can go about it such as having him forfeit the rest of his matches and readjust everything for the people that he was booked to beat. Meltzer reported that another choice would be to just put someone else in as his replacement and have that person be booked the same that Robinson was planned for the tournament.
