As noted before, The Lucha Brothers’ Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with AEW had been originally set to expire between this past August and September while Rey Fenix’s contract had been originally set to expire this past September. Penta’s contract officially expired earlier this month.
Fightful reported that Penta’s profile was recently removed from AEW’s official roster page confirming his contract had expired and he is no longer with the company.
It was reported that Penta’s profile was removed sometime after December 2nd since that was the last date it was known to still be listed on AEW’s roster page.

Penta is still currently expected to be joining WWE in the future and likely as a package deal once Fenix’s contract with AEW also expires.
Prior to his departure, Penta had been with AEW since February of 2019.
