Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources within WWE have denied rumors of LA Knight recently suffering an injury.
This rumor originated from a now deleted tweet from Luekens Wine & Spirits who had announced on Tuesday that they had pulled Knight from a scheduled meet and greet fan event on December 27th due to him suffering an undisclosed injury. It was also announced that Braun Strowman would be replacing Knight for this upcoming fan event.
Important Update🚨While we’re sad to announce that WWE Superstar LA Knight is unable to attend the December 27th event due to injury, we’ve got great news: WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has stepped up to replace him! We’ll be making an announcement shortly with details—stay tuned!
Sapp reported that those spoken to within WWE stated that Knight is not injured and the reason for his pulled booking was due to his appearance was never actually approved by WWE for the event. Those spoken to reportedly also confirmed that Strowman will be replacing Knight for this event.
