As noted before, Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan revealed in a media scrum held on Tuesday that this Friday’s ROH Final Battle 2024 event at the Hammerstein Ballroom will be featuring the ROH World and ROH Women’s World Championship matches as co-main events for the show.
Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with Athena. One of the topics discussed included Athena confirming that her match against Billie Starkz for the ROH Women’s World title will be headlining Final Battle 2024.
“I think we are going to be, me and minion 4,237 and 3 quarters or whatever she wants to be referred to now, I don’t really care, but we will be the first women to main event in Hammerstein as far as I know, as far as Ring Of Honor goes anyway. That could be a really cool moment, another history on the belt there.”
Prior to the release of the interview, Starkz had revealed on Bluesky on Tuesday that she will be main eventing ROH’s upcoming event.
