As noted before, WWE announced this past September that next year’s SummerSlam event in East Rutherford, New Jersey will be a two-night event for the first time in SummerSlam history. SummerSlam will be joining WrestleMania as annual two-night events held by WWE.
WrestleVotes Radio reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently considering plans to expand more of their Premium Live Events into two-night events starting in 2026.
Those spoken to stated that WWE officials are currently considering the idea of Royal Rumble expanding into a two-night event starting in 2026 and for Money in the Bank to follow by 2027.
