As noted before, Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE expired this past June and has been on a break from wrestling but is expected to be returning to WWE in the future. Lynch was among the various WWE Superstars shown in a recent ad released by Netflix in the lead-up to WWE RAW’s premiere show on the service.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason why Lynch did not make her official return at Monday’s WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix was due to WWE officials did not factor Lynch into their plans for the show. This reportedly debunked a report from BodySlam.net that stated that Lynch had been planned to appear but was cut from the show in favor of an appearance by WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker instead.
It was reported that Lynch was not in the Los Angeles area at all on Monday.
In regards to Lynch’s future with WWE, it was reported that Lynch recently signed a new contract with the company. No other details regarding the length nor other terms were given.
In regards to WWE’s plans for Lynch’s return, it was reported that WWE officials had yet to solidified their plans for Lynch’s return nor plans for her involvement at WrestleMania 41 as of late 2024.
