As noted before, Malakai Black is currently believed to be finishing up with AEW and he is expected to leave the company. In recent weeks AEW shows, Will Ospreay and Cope gave their praises of Buddy Mathews, Brody King, and Julia Hart and pushed for them to leave House of Black to find a new and greater path for success for their AEW careers.
During tonight’s AEW Dynamite show in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jamie Hayter gave a post-match promo following her victory over Hart. Hayter praised Hart and talked about those who have stood beside Hart in the past. Hayter then stated that since they have each won a match against the other, she issued a challenge to Hart for a rubber match at anytime Hart wants to settle things.

In a follow-up segment, a video aired featuring Hart, King, and Mathews. During the video, King stated that for years, they have had a voice to guide them and the voice was deafening but now silent. Matthews responded stating they are done living in the shadows. Hart was the next to respond stating that it is time to honor themselves with no leaders, no masters, no gods. King responded stating “Just, violence, as when they bark, they bark together.”
"We are done living in the shadows… No rules… Just VIOLENCE!"
