AEW has been airing their AEW Dynamite and Collision shows as simulcasts on MAX since the start of this year as part of their new media rights deal with Warner Bros Discovery. AEW is currently expected to also air their pay-per-view events at some point this year with those events also expected to be priced at a discount on MAX for subscribers.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that his sources stated that Amazon’s Prime Video service is currently expected to join AEW’s PPV carriers later this year.
Thurston reported that Amazon Prime Video is currently expected to air AEW PPVs events in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom but the start date is currently not known beyond it being at some point in 2025. Thurston also reported that it is currently not known if it will be available in time for this March’s Revolution 2025 event.
Thurston also reported that AEW PPVs on Amazon Prime Video will be available to purchase and rent similar to how movies on the service are handled. Thurston also reported that AEW PPVs would not only be available to Amazon Prime members.
Amazon Prime Video would be joining Triller, YouTube, and PPV.com as the current digital carriers for AEW PPVs events in the United States, Canada, and select international markets.
