New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the full card for their 53rd Anniversary Event, which takes place on March 6th at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Ota City, Japan.
Among the new matches announced included an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match of Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Hirooki Goto (c).
This match was setup following Goto defeating Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World title and issued a challenge to Tanahashi during the post-match press conference.
