As noted before, HENARE has been out of action for New Japan Pro Wrestling since this past December due to a serious knee injury and surgery.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that NJPW officials currently are not expecting HENARE to return at all from his injury in 2025. NJPW officials reportedly have also made plans without him in mind.
HENARE’s return status reportedly will completely depend on his recovery process from his injury and surgery, which the latter he had been set to undergo before the end of 2024 but there has been no details on how his surgery had went.
Besides the serious knee injury this past December, HENARE had also missed three months of action in 2024 following a serious head wound injury he suffered during a 10-Man Dog Pound Steel Cage match between Bullet Club War Dogs and United Empire at NJPW’s The New Beginning in Osaka 2024 event.
