The February 19th AEW Dynamite show in Phoenix, Arizona featured Megan Bayne defeating Kris Statlander in a singles match after getting some help by Penelope Ford. This match was notable for a post-match segment involving Bayne & Ford attacking Statlander leading to Thunder Rosa running out with a chair for the save only to end up in a very awkward standoff with Rosa being hesitant on using the chair or not and Bayne and Ford just looking on unconcerned until a half-heated tug-o-war between Rosa and Ford over the chair.

Fightful Select reported that their sources denied online rumors that Bayne and Ford had acted independently causing the segment to be very awkward and make Rosa look bad. Those spoken to reportedly stated that the actual reason was just simply due to a miscommunication issue from a coach or producer regarding talent positioning for the segment.
It was reported that AEW officials had addressed the situation internally after the segment and there are no lingering issues between Rosa, Bayne, and Ford over it.
