WWE reportedly currently has big plans for Jacob Fatu’s future in the company, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that Fatu’s appearances and interactions on shows have been carefully crafted since “virtually the start of his WWE run.” This reportedly has included the injury angle at last year’s SummerSlam event to his forced surrendering of the WWE Tag Team Championship and key moments leading to this past October’s Bad Blood 2024 event as part of WWE’s design to shape how fans perceive Fatu within The Bloodline.
WWE officials reportedly knows their audience sees Fatu as a powerhouse and have been leaning into it for his booking.
It was reported that their sources have yet to confirm if a Solo Sikoa vs. Fatu match is currently planned to take place at WrestleMania 41 but Fatu’s recent face-offs with Roman Reigns are “not an accident.” WWE high-level officials reportedly currently view Fatu as a long-term star for the company.
