Jamie Hayter has been noticeably absent from AEW since her match against Julia Hart at the January 22nd AEW Dynamite show in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason for Hayter’s current absence from AEW is due to her currently being in the process of getting her work visa renewed. It was reported that Hayter is currently back in the United Kingdom to get her visa issue sorted out.
It was reported that this is also the reason why Hayter has been taking bookings in the United Kingdom of late.
It was also reported while it is currently not known how far along she is in the process, Hayter is currently expected to make her return to AEW once her visa issue is resolved.
Following the release of Fightful’s report, Hayter responded on Twitter confirming that she is currently in the process of getting a new visa for the reason for her absence.
I’ll save you all the cash and the concern, just getting a new visa, no big deal, no issues. Cheers! https://t.co/EZ0tOYbEwE
