Rey Mysterio Injury Update – Mysterio Not Medically Cleared to Compete at WrestleMania, Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano Set for WrestleMania 41

As noted before, Rey Mysterio suffered an unknown injury at Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mysterio suffered the injury during a Six-Man Tag Team match between himself, Dragon Lee, & Rey Fenix and American Made. Following the match, Mysterio was helped to the back for medical treatment.

During Saturday’s Countdown to WrestleMania 41 pre-show, Mysterio provided an update stating that he is not medically cleared to compete at WrestleMania 41. Mysterio also stated that Rey Fenix will be replacing him for his scheduled match against El Grande Americano at tonight’s WrestleMania 41 Night 1 show.
