As noted before, Rey Mysterio suffered an injury at this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show and was pulled and replaced with Rey Fenix for his scheduled match against El Grande Americano at Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 event.
A recent Fanatics Live Signing event featured Mysterio as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Mysterio providing an update stating that he had suffered a torn groin injury.
“It’s unfortunate that I suffered a torn groin on Friday night at SmackDown and I wasn’t able to perform. Live to fight another day.”
