New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one new match for the card of Wrestling Dontaku 2025 Night 1, which takes place on May 3rd at the Fukuoka Convention Center in Fukuoka, Japan.
This new match announced was a NJPW World Television Championship match of Konosuke Takeshita vs. El Phantasmo (c).
It was also announced that as a result of Takeshita and El Phantasmo now facing off against each other for the NJPW World TV title, the previously scheduled tag team match of Jado & El Phantasmo vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Rocky Romero has been pulled from the card.
It was also confirmed that the Dogpound Cage match between BULLET CLUB War Dogs and House of Torture will now feature the stipulation of Loser Leaves Bullet Club.
