As noted before, WWE is currently working on plans to potentially hold a new all-women’s Evolution event this July.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials are potentially still looking at an early July date for this upcoming event. Those spoken to reportedly stated that the current date being considered for the event is the weekend of July 12th, which is the same weekend as AEW’s All In Texas event on July 13th and WWE’s Saturdday Night’s Main Event show on July 12th.
In regards to the potential location for this event, Johnson reported that WWE officials appear to have dropped a Connecticut location in favor of Atlanta, Georgia instead for this new event.
Johnson also reported that WWE have yet to finalize their plans for this upcoming event.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed Johnson’s report and provided additional details.
It was reported that several WWE talent spoken to stated that the idea of a second Evolution show has not been brought up to them but they have seen the internet speculation.
It was also reported that this is something that has also been discussed among some WWE Legends but it is currently not know if WWE officials had told them or if they were reading the same speculation as everyone else.
