As noted before, Darby Allin has been on a break from AEW since this past December due to his planned climb of Mount Everest that started this past mid-April.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the word this past January was that Allin was not expected to return from his climb until this Spring. It was reported that AEW officials at the time had hoped that Allin would be ready to return for this year’s Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament and potentially work at their Double or Nothing 2025 event on May 25th in Glendale, Arizona. It was reported that there has been no official update on Allin’s return status since this past January.
In regards to Allin’s mountain climbing, it was reported that it typically takes six to ten weeks to complete the climb of Mount Everest.
