Tony welcomes first FTR and Stokely Hathaway, the three men getting boos from the crowd as they head to the ring. Out next is Daniel Garcia, accompanied by Daddy Magic on his way to the ring. Tony then welcomes Nigel McGuinness to the ring, and the former ROH World Champion gets a very nice reaction on his way down the ramp. He stares FTR and Stoke down as Tony presents the contract, asking FTR to sign first.
Cash Wheeler grabs the mic to address Nigel and Garcia, saying they’re giving the pair one last chance to reconsider. He says FTR respects Garcia and hates seeing him running around with nobodies like Nigel McGuinness. Wheeler tells the crowd to shut up as he runs Nigel down, saying he hides behind the commentary table making jokes and doing magic tricks elsewhere…but there will be no magic or hiding for him this Sunday at Double Or Nothing. Is this what you want, Nigel? Think about it.
With that, Cash signs the contract before handing it to Schiavone. Garcia addresses FTR now, saying they turned his back on him and everyone that ever cared about them. He’s standing up not only for himself but for Tony Schiavone, for Daddy Magic, for Adam Copeland and his family, and for everyone here who has had enough of FTR! They’re right about one thing, they are the greatest tag team that wrestling has ever seen…but this Sunday will not be a wrestling match, it will be a fight.
He knows Nigel has that voice in his head creating down, but he sees the look in Nigel’s eyes…it’s the same he had when he was being one of the Ring of Honor champions of all time. No matter what they say or how he feels, Daniel and everyone else here knows Nigel’s still got it. This gets a “you’ve still got it” chant for emphasis, as Garcia says if he’s really that doubtful he doesn’t have to sign the contract. Nigel says whether he’s still got it or not we’ll find out at Double Or Nothing, but tonight he needs a guarantee from FTR that after Double Or Nothing, win or lose, they don’t touch, talk to, or look at he or Tony Schiavone ever again…or else it will be top guys out, for good.
With that, Nigel starts to sign the contract. Dax, however, he needs Nigel to look in his eyes and tell him that this is really what he wants to do. This is not 2009, and wrestling has beaten him up over the years…but if you want FTR to finish what they started, sign the contract. If he agrees to this match, FTR will not be held responsible for what happens to him…or, he can walk away and forget about all this. They can all put this behind them, they can even be friends. The crowd continues booing as Nigel says Dax should not be putting his hands on him…but Dax says this is business, if it was personal Dax would’ve already splattered Nigel’s face. Things suddenly break down as all four men end up brawling in the ring…until FTR get locked in a submission hold by Garcia and Nigel!
Security rushes down to bring order back to the chaos, and FTR and Stoke retreat up the ramp as Nigel reveals it is official, signing the contract! FTR are livid as we cut away.
