TNA Wrestling talent Elijah reportedly suffered an injury at Tuesday’s WWE NXT show in Orlando, Florida, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Twitter that his sources stated that Elijah had suffered an injury to his left arm during his Six-Man Tag Team match with Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura against Trick Williams, AJ Francis, & Wes Lee. Alvarez reported that Elijah’s injury was something that nobody had even noticed at first. Alvarez speculated that Elijah might have suffered a potential elbow or torn triceps injury in his arm.
“Elijah injured his left arm on NXT, somehow it appears nobody even noticed. Hopefully not too serious, but looked like elbow injury or maybe torn triceps.”
In a follow-up report, Alvarez reported that Elijah is currently believed to have suffered the injury following a The Undertaker Old School rope walk spot to Williams and landed awkwardly on his elbow. Alvarez reported that Elijah basically did not use his injured arm for the remainder of the match.
