Cody Rhodes Advances to 2025 King of the Ring Tournament Finals

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio featured one tournament match for this year’s King of the Ring Tournament.

This was a Semifinal Round match of Cody Rhodes defeating Jey Uso.

As a result of his victory, Rhodes will be facing off against Randy Orton in the Finals of this year’s King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2025.


Jade Cargill Advances to 2025 Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one tournament match for this year’s Queen of the Ring Tournament.

This was a Semifinal Round match of Jade Cargill defeating Roxanne Perez.

As a result of her victory, Cargill will be facing off against Asuka in the Finals of this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions 2025.


IC Title Match Pulled from Night of Champions Due to Dominik Mysterio Injury

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one match being pulled from the card of Night of Champions 2025.

During the show, RAW GM Adam Pearce was seen backstage on the phone with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis talking about the situation involving Liv Morgan’s injury and the WWE Women’s Tag titles. This led to AJ Styles showing up and Pearce informing him that it wasn’t just Morgan who is currently injured in Judgement Day. Pearce stated that Mysterio also recently suffered an injury and is not medically cleared to compete so their for the Intercontinental title at Night of Champions has been pulled. This led to an upset reaction by Styles who stated that Mysterio was just ducking him and Pearce responding stating that Styles will get his title shot once Mysterio is cleared.

No other details were given regarding Mysterio’s injury situation nor is it currently not known if this is a legitimate or just a storyline injury.


Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross Announced for WWE Night of Champions 2025

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of Night of Champions 2025.

This new match announced was a singles match of Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks show over Kross’ constant atgaolzing of Zayn and Zayn’s growing bad blood issues with Kross. During tonight’s show, Kross attempted to ataonized Zayn again over his recent loss to Randy Orton in the King of the Ring tournament. After some more mocking by Kross, Zayn responded striking Kross and stated that they will be having their match soon. In a follow-up segment, it was announced that this match was made official for Night of Champions.


Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez Street Fight Match Set for WWE Night of Champions 2025

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of Night of Champions 2025, which takes place on June 28th at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This new match announced was a Street Fight match of Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Ripley’s lingering bad blood issues with Judgement Day and Rodriguez’s bad blood issues with Ripley in return. During tonight’s show, Rodriguez came out to the ring and gave a promo talking about her issues with Ripley and called her out. This led to Ripley coming out and a brawl breaking out that ended with Roxanne Perez running out to help Rodriguez and Rodriguez hitting a Tejana Bomb to Ripley through a table.

In a follow-up segment, Ripley was seen storming into RAW GM Adam Pearce’s office demanding a match against Rodriguez, which Pearce agreed to do at Night of Champions.

Early Start Time & Current Card for Next Week’s Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on June 30th at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This new match was setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics throughout the show.

It was also announced that next week’s show will be airing at an earlier than usual start time of 6PM EST. The reason for the early start time is due to WWE will be holding a set of RAW and SmackDown tapings that night.
