Backstage Update on Otis’ Recent WWE Abscense

Alpha Academy’s Otis has been noticeably absent from WWE television since the May 5th episode of WWE RAW that featured him being defeated at the hands of Rusev.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed a recent report from WrestleVotes that stated the reason for Otis’ current abscense from WWE is due to him dealing with an elbow injury.

Sapp reported that Otis is currently set to undergo elbow surgery in the form of arthroscopic to determine what the exact problem is. Sapp also reported that Otis’ procedure is currently not expected to keep him out of action for as long as some within WWE had originally believed. Otis and those close to him reportedly are well aware of potential stumbling blocks for his recovery which could delay his return.
