Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY for WWE Women’s World Title Set for WWE Evolution 2

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania featured the first of three new matches announced for the card of Evolution 2.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s World Championship match of Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY (c).

This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Ripley and SKY. Ripley came out to talk about her victory over Raquel Rodriguez at Night of Champions and her wondering what is next for her with Evolution 2 right around the corner. Before Ripley could continue, SKY’s music played and she came out to the ring. SKY talked about how Ripley is not on top because she doesn’t have the title and how she is instead. SKY then talked about how she talked to RAW GM Adam Pearce and him telling her that she can pick any opponent she wants for her match at Evolution 2 for her title. SKY then challenged Ripley as her choice, which Ripley accepted.

In a follow-up segment, this match was made official for Evolution 2.


Judgement Day Wins WWE World Tag Titles on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Judgement Day (JD McDonagh & Finn Balor) defeating New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.

This was Balor and McDonagh’s second championship victory together as Judgement Day in their WWE careers.


Roxanne Perez Replaces Liv Morgan & 4-Way WWE Women’s Tag Title Match Set for WWE Evolution 2

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the second of three new matches announced for the card of Evolution 2.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-way match of RAW mystery team vs. SmackDown mystery team vs. NXT mystery team vs. Judgement Day (Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez) (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage segment involving RAW GM Adam Pearce, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, and Judgement Day’s Finn Balor & JD McDonagh. During the show, Pearce and Aldis were seen backstage talking about the situation of the WWE Women’s Tag titles following Liv Morgan’s injury. This led to Balor and McDonagh showing up and after some words, Balor managed to convince Pearce and Aldis to have Perez officially replaced Morgan as Raquel’s tag team partner to keep the belts in Judgement Day. Pearce and Aldis had a quick talk to the side and agreed to Balor’s idea and Pearce stated that Perez and Raquel will have the chance to prove themselves as champions by defending their titles at Evolution 2. Pearce stated that this will be a Four-way match with the other opponents being one team from RAW, one team from SmackDown, and one team from NXT.


Women’s Title #1 Contender Battle Royal Match Set for WWE Evolution 2

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the third of three new matches announced for the card of Evolution 2, which takes place on July 13th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

This new match announced was a #1 Contender Battle Royal match.

This match was setup following a video segment featuring RAW GM Adam Pearce and SmackDown Nick Aldis who announced that a Battle Royal match will be taking place at Evolution 2. Pearce and Aldis also announced that the winner of this match will get a shot at any title of their choosing at this August’s Clash in Paris 2025 event.

LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins Set for 7/12 SNME Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE’s next Saturday Night’s Main Event show, which takes place on July 12th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

This new match announced was a singles match of LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between Knight and Rollins & his group. During tonight’s show, Knight confronted Rollins in the stands after Rollins had escaped an attack by CM Punk after his promo to Gunther about his grand plans to go after any World title. This led to a brawl that spilled over to the concessions area that ended with Rollins tossing a drink into Knight’s face and running away to safety.

In a follow-up segment, it was announced that this match was made official for Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
