Cody Rhodes Reportedly to Play Guile in New Live-Action Street Fighter Film
Deadline reported that their sources stated that Cody Rhodes recently joined the cast of the new live-action Street Fighter film.
It was reported that Rhodes will be portraying Guile in the upcoming new film.
This upcoming film will be co-produced by Legendary Entertainment and Capcom and will be directed by Kitao Sakurai.
Besides Rhodes, Roman Reigns is also among the cast for the upcoming new film. Reigns will be portraying Akuma in the film.
Karrion Kross & Scarlett’s Expiring WWE Contracts Status Update
As noted before, Karrion Kross’ contract with WWE is currently believed to be expiring at some point this summer.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Kross’ contract is currently set to expire this August.
It was reported that besides Kross, Scarlett’s contract with WWE also is currently set to expire next month as well. Both Kross and Scarlett reportedly had signed three-year deals in August of 2022.
It was also reported that while it is currently not known if any extension has been signed yet, those spoken to within WWE currently fully expect both Kross and Scarlett to be staying with the company. Those spoken to reportedly pointed out Kross and Scarlett being featured regularly on WWE programming and Kross getting new merchandise of late.
Mercedes Mone Comments on Return of WWE Evolution
Former WWE and current AEW talent Mercedes Mone recently held a live stream on Instagram. One of the topics discussed included Mone’s thoughts about WWE holding a new all-women’s Evolution event after seven years.
“I think it’s about time. They waited way too long to have an all-women’s pay-per-view. But I love and I will always support and be a huge advocate for women’s wrestling, so I am excited for that and for the women that get to perform on that.”
Mercedes Mone was on IG Live and gave her thoughts on WWE Evolution 2.
