Jim Ross Confirms He Will Be at AEW All In Texas
As noted before, AEW and wrestling announcer legend Jim Ross was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent successful surgery this past May.
A recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast featured co-host Ross providing an update stating that he will be at AEW’s All In Texas event on July 12th in Arlington, Texas.
“Absolutely. I’ll be there. I’m going to fly in on Thursday and do our business on Friday and then I’ll be at the pay-per-view on Saturday.”
Ross also gave his thoughts about him currently not knowing which match he will be calling at the event but hopes to be able to call the Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada match.
“I don’t know what match I have. I know what matches I’d like to have, but you know, Tony Khan takes good care of me with match selection. I appreciate that, he looks out for my style and my well-being in that regard. Okada, I mentioned Okada and Kenny Omega, well that’s one of the featured matches on Saturday’s show. I hope I get the call to participate in that presentation. That’s something an announcer can only dream about and I dream about it all the time because I have a great respect for both of those guys. I feel like they’re probably going to be in a position to close the show or close to it.”

Cope Comments on His Wrestling Career Nearing Its End
Adam “Cope” Copeland recently reflected on Instagram about this past Tuesday being the 33rd anniversary of the debut of his wrestling career and his belief that he does not have a lot of time left on his career.
“On Canada Day 33 yrs ago I made my wrestling debut. In Oakland Raiders Zubaz and a pair of Converse. Nowhere to go but up. Since then, I’ve travelled the world. Literally. Everywhere you can think of. From Moose Landing to Monterrey, from Bloodvein to Bucharest. It’s been a long, fruitful, soul expanding, soul diminishing, amazing, frustrating, exhausting, exhilarating journey over 3 decades. The best part? I hear every one of you when I blast out of that entranceway and sing Metalingus at the top of your lungs. It’s never been lost on me what a privilege that is. Australia I’m lookin at you! It won’t last a lot longer so I’m gonna soak in every second. Thank you for coming along on this ride with me.”
