As noted before, Shayna Baszler was released by WWE this past May as part of a larger batch of talent releases.
Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that Baszler was recently brought in by WWE to work as a producer for their NXT brand. Baszler reportedly was listed as a producer for Tuesday’s NXT show and co-produced with Oney Lorcan the Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid match on the show.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed Hays report and stated that Baszler is currently working as a producer in a tryout role in WWE. Sapp reported that nothing permanent has been decided yet regarding her potential new job in the company.
