Rumors of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan dealing with serious health issues have been going around online for the past month following comments made by Bubba The Love Sponge in an episode of his podcast show on June 18th. Bubba claimed that Hogan was hospitalized with heart failure issues. These rumors were denied by Eric Bischoff who stated that Hogan was just “experiencing some adverse reaction” to a neck fusion surgery he had earlier this year.
New rumors regarding Hogan’s health situation arose this week following recent comments made by Bubba The Love Sponge who claimed that Hogan’s camp is continuing to hide the actual health condition that Hogan has been dealing with.
Hogan’s wife Sky responded earlier today on Instagram denying the rumors of Hogan being in a coma nor him dealing with any heart related or other body related health issues. Sky also stated that the reason for Hogan’s hospitalization visits was due to it being part of his recovery from his neck fusion surgery.
“No, he’s definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage… none of those rumors are true,” Sky wrote. “He’s been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process. If you look it up, you’ll see what the last six weeks have involved… not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery. We’ve been in and out of the hospital to support that recovery. So truly, there’s no need for the drama or panic some people try to stir up. He’s healing, and we’re taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.”
