Adam Cole Says Health Issues with Keep Him Away for “Some Time”

As noted before, Adam Cole was pulled from AEW’s All In Texas event due to an undisclosed injury and vacated his TNT Championship as a result.

During today’s All In Texas event at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, Cole came out to the ring and gave a tearful somber speech apologizing to the fans for not being able to defend his TNT title. Cole stated that he is going to be gone for a while and he doesn’t want to talk retirement but if this indeed goodbye, he felt like he owed it to the fans. After some more tearful words by Cole about how all he ever wanted to be was a pro wrestler since he was 9 years old and their support has meant the world to him. After some more words thanking the fans and his love of them, Paragon’s Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly gave a hug to Cole in the ring. Cole then gave a Adam Cole Bay-Bay pose and kissed the TNT title before placing it on the mat and left the ring.


JoJo Offerman Makes Appearance & Sings “Ain’t Nobody” for Swerve Strickland’s Entrance

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured JoJo Offerman, widow of
Windham Lawrence Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) and former WWE ring announcer, making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Offerman was seen on the stage and gave a live performance of “Ain’t Nobody” for Swerve Strickland’s entrance for his tag team match with Will Ospreay against The Young Bucks.

This song was used by Strickland during his career in the indies.

AEW also paid tribute to the late Bray Wyatt by showing fireflies in the background during Offerman’s performance.


Young Bucks No Longer AEW EVPs After Loss to Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland defeating The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson).

As a result of their victory, Ospreay & Strickland avoided being banned for a year from challenging for the AEW World Championship but the Young Bucks now lost their AEW EVPs titles as per the stipulations of their match.


Harley Cameron Makes Surprise Return, Syuri & Alex Windsor Makes Surprise AEW Debut in Women’s Casino Gauntlet

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Harley Cameron making a surprise return and Stardom talent Syuri and Alex Windsor making their in-ring debuts in AEW.

During the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match, Penelope Ford interfered to help out Megan Bayne. This led to Cameron making her surprise return and took out Ford from the top rope as revenge for Ford and Bayne breaking her nose.

Later in the match, Syuri and Windsor made their official in-ring debuts for AEW as the #11 and #12 entrants in the match.

This was Cameron’s first appearance since this past May due to a broken nose injury.


Athena Wins Women’s Casino Gauntlet

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Athena winning the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match.

The competitors for this match in order were Kris Statlander, Megan Bayne, Willow Nightingale, Tay Melo, Thekla, Julia Hart, Queen Aminata, Mina Shirakawa, Athena, Thunder Rosa, and Syuri.

As a result of her victory, Athena earned a future shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship.
