Nick Wayne & The Patriarchy Turns Heel on Christian Cage, Cope Makes Surprise Return & Teases Reunion with Cage

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas featured Nick Wayne attacking Christian Cage and The Patriarchy turning on Cage.

Following Hurt Syndicate’s victory over JetSpeed and The Patriarchy to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship, FTR and Stokely Hathaway confronted a knocked out Cage in the ring. This led to Wayne and Kip Sabian with a chair in his hand getting into the ring to protect Cage. After a tense standoff, Cage prepared to leave the ring only to get hit with a Killswitch by Wayne.

This led to Mother Wayne laughing in delight over what her son did and Sabian getting steel chairs for Wayne to do a Con-Chair-To to Cage to take him out for good. Before Wayne was about to strike Cage with the chair, Adam Copeland’s music played and came out with Spike his hand.

Cope proceeded to lay out Wayne and Sabian while FTR and Hathaway bailed out of the ring and through the crowd to safety. After clearing the ring of the Patriarchy, Cope helped up Cage and told him to “go find yourself” before leaving the ring and Cage giving thought about what to do next.

This was Copeland’s first appearance since this past April’s Dynasty 2025 due to a storyline “injury” at the hands of FTR.


Jim Ross Makes Commentary Appearance at AEW All In Texas

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Jim Ross making a commentary appearance.

Prior to the start of the AEW Unified Championship match between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega, Excalibur introduced Ross to the crowd and viewers at home. Excalibur stated that Ross would be on commentary for the final two matches of the show.

This was Ross’ first appearance since this past April’s Dynasty 2025 event and his successful battle with colon cancer this past May.


Kazuchika Okada Wins AEW Unified Title

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured – defeating – to become the inaugural AEW Unified Championship.

This match featured Okada’s Continental Championship and Omega’s International Championship being on the line in a winner takes all match for the new Unified title.


Darby Allin & Bryan Danielson Make Surprise Returns at All In Texas

Saturday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Darby Allin and Bryan Danielson making their surprise returns.

During the AEW World Championship Texas Death Match between Hangman Adam Page and Jon Moxley, the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli interfered leading to Will Ospreay running out trying to save Page to no avail. This led to a video airing on the big screen featuring Allin delivering an ominous message to Moxley and the Death Riders.

As the Death Riders were distracted, a masked hooded person ran into the wearing a Blue Panther mask and doing Danielson’s signature “YES” taunt. After this mystery person hit a Busaiku Knee to Yuta, this person took off their mask revealing himself to indeed be Danielson.

This then led to a Allin rappelling down from the rafters and proceeded to lay out Moxley and followed it with a Coffin Drop to the rest of the Death Riders on the outside.


Hangman Page Wins AEW World Title at All In Texas

Sarurday’s AEW All In Texas event also featured Hangman Adam Page defeating Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match to become the new AEW World Champion.

This was Page’s second AEW World Championship victory in his AEW career.
